Cost and payments Extract translations of documents into English are charged at a flat rate. Full translations are charged per word, with a minimum of 100 words per document. With a full translation we will estimate the cost upfront based on the expected number of English words in the final translation. Any difference to be paid or refunded is processed when you collect documents.

Affidavit available We can provide an Affidavit with your translation if you need it for legal purposes – the cost of this service is additional to your translation.

Apostille Authentication stamps Overseas governments sometimes need proof that Australian documents or the signatures of Australian officials are genuine – known as an Apostille or Authentication stamp. An apostille is required for translation of official documents issued in Australia into a language other than English.

Check with the overseas government or local embassy/consulate of the country you are dealing with to find out which stamp is required and on which documents. Be aware you’ll need need to get this stamp (if required) before getting your Australian document translated, as the stamp will also need to be translated with your document.
